How can I visit White Oak Conservation Center?

Tours of the Conservation Center are available to members, and during special events.

 

How many animals do you have in your collection?  

There are about 250 individual animals at White Oak Conservation Center, representing more than 20 different species.

 

What is the rarest species at White Oak Conservation Center? 

Many of the species at White Oak are considered endangered. Some of the rarest housed at the Conservation Center are the Somali wild ass, addra gazelle, and the Mississippi sandhill crane.

 

Do you host school groups?

Due to the high volume of similar requests, and limited staff resources, we are unable to host school groups. Tours of the Conservation Center are available to members, and during special events. We offer many different training opportunities for wildlife professionals and those aspiring to have a career in conservation.  Visit out Training page for more info.
