When doing your holiday shopping this year, please consider helping White Oak Conservation Center and donate and item on our Wish List! There are many ways that you can support the mission of WOCC. Help feed our animals, or provide the keepers and veterinarians with necessary equipment for our daily operations.

 


Yard Tools

$20

WOCC keepers use a variety of tools to care for the animals and keep the Conservation Center in top shape, including steel rakes, leaf rakes and shovels. Your $20 gift helps purchase one of these items. (Please list “Yard Tools" in the Comments section of your donation to purchase this item.)


Feed a Rhino for 1 Day

$35

Help feed a rhino hay for one day at White Oak Conservation Center. Your gift of $35 provides hay, grain and vitamin supplements for one of the rhinos living here at White Oak. (Please list “Feed a Rhino” in the Comments section of your donation to purchase this item.)


Give a Cheetah a Day of Veterinary Care

The animals at White Oak Conservation Center require highly specialized animal health care, 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Your gift provides care for one cheetah to have a visit by the veterinarian. (Please list “Veterinary Care” in the Comments section of your donation to purchase this item.)


Train an Intern for a Day

An important part of WOCC's mission is working with interns, help us by subsidizing a day of training. Our interns work in the field with our animals and in our animal hospital. (Please list “Train an Intern” in the Comments section of your donation to purchase this item.)


Help Build a Den for Newborn Cheetahs

When cheetahs are born, they stay in a den with their mother. Help build a new den for our newborns! (Please list “Cheetah Den” in the Comments section of your donation to purchase this item.)


Rhino Shade

Shade is an important comfort for the animals during the long summer days at White Oak Conservation Center. Your gift purchases a large shade tree, which will be planted inside one of the animal enclosures. (Please list “Rhino Shade” in the Comments section of your donation to purchase this item.)


Electronic Scale

Our keepers use portable Electronic Scales to weigh babies as well as animal diets. Your gift will help replace an older scale that is no longer functional. (Please list “Electronic Scale” in the Comments section of your donation to purchase this item.)


Purchase a New Desktop Computer

Our staff uses computers on a daily basis to file reports about our animals. New computers helps this process go faster so the keepers can spend more time with the animals! (Please list “Computer" in the Comments section of your donation to purchase this item.)


Feed a Giraffe for a Month

You can help us care for and feed one of the giraffes at White Oak Conservation Center for one month. Your gift of $750 provides all the specialized food, vitamins and medicines a giraffe at White Oak needs for one month. Help Build a Dividing Wall for a Mississippi Sandhill Crane Enclosure

Cranes need privacy for their comfort and safety when raising their chicks each year. Your gift will purchase the construction materials needed to build a privacy fence for the Mississippi Sandhill Cranes. Riding Lawnmower/Walk Behind Mower

Our keepers have to mow the animal pens, some of which are several acres large. This task is much easier with heavy-duty riding and walk behind lawnmowers. (Please list “Riding Lawnmower” in the Comments section of your donation to purchase this item.)
