Members of White Oak Conservation Center have the opportunity to tour the Conservation Center, receive invitations to special events, and have access to exciting behind-the-scenes experiences and speciality tours. You can become a member by making a secure donation online, emailing us, or calling 904-225-3396.

Private Tours

Private tours are lead by experienced Conservation Center Specialist staff. Member guests will be introduced to our wildlife conservation programs, including opportunities to spend time and observe rhinos, giraffes, okapi and cheetahs.

Schedule: Monday – Sunday 9:00AM – 3:00PM. Must schedule in advance.

Length of Experience: 2 hours

Cost: Members contributing $1,000 or higher receive private tours as a membership benefit.

Keeper for a Day

This experience offers the opportunity to work alongside the animal keepers and program staff and participate in the daily routines and help complete work projects. This is a working experience with a chance for guests to be involved in all aspects of daily animal care. 2 guests per visit only.

Schedule: 1 opportunity per week: Thursdays 8:00 – 1:00.

Guests must be 16 years of age and older.

Length of Experience: 5 hours

Cost: $700 per day for two people. Lunch and water bottle provided.

Animal Training Sessions

This experience offers the chance to participate with keepers and vet staff with animal care procedures such as animal weighing, medical exams, and animal training procedures. This experience offers guests insights into animal training and the related duties of keepers and vets who work closely with wildlife on a daily basis. 4 -6 guests welcome, with a 4 person minimum.

Schedule: 1 opportunity per week : Tuesdays 9:00 – 11:00 AM.

Guests must be 8 years of age and older.

Length of Experience: 2 hours

Cost: $250 per person, water bottle provided

Group Tours

Schedule: Twice per week. Call for times.

Length of Experience: 1.5 hours

Cost: $50 per person
